These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Vareth, including its website, game services and related features.

By creating an account or using Vareth after these Terms become effective, you agree to comply with them and with applicable law.

Certain Vareth features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity performed through it.

Account information must not be used to impersonate another person, interfere with the service, or evade restrictions imposed on another account.

Vareth is an evolving online dark-fantasy RPG. Features, content, progression systems, balance, enemies, items, rewards and other game systems may change as development continues.

Access to particular content or features may depend on account status, character progression, technical availability or the current stage of development.

You must not use Vareth in a way that disrupts, damages or unfairly interferes with the service or other players.

• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers or systems.
• Do not exploit vulnerabilities or deliberately bypass security controls.
• Do not use unauthorized automation to manipulate gameplay or progression.
• Do not manipulate requests, game state, rewards or progression through unauthorized means.
• Do not harass, threaten or abuse other users where social functionality is available.
• Do not use the service for unlawful activity.

Vareth uses server-authoritative systems for important game state. Attempts to modify client-side software, network requests or other systems to obtain unauthorized advantages may result in restrictions or account action.

Bugs or unintended behavior should not be knowingly exploited to duplicate items, currency, progression or other advantages.

Vareth may contain virtual items, currencies, cosmetics, progression resources and other digital game content.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, virtual game content represents access to features within Vareth and does not represent real-world currency, property ownership or a financial instrument.

Rules governing any future player trading, marketplace or transferable systems will be defined separately if those features are introduced.

Vareth is intended to operate as a free-to-play service and may later offer optional purchases.

Exact payment methods, pricing, premium content, refund rules and payment providers have not yet been finalized. Applicable purchase terms will be presented before paid transactions are enabled.

This section should therefore not be treated as the final production purchase or refund policy.

Vareth's original game content, including its world, characters, text, artwork, designs, interfaces, software and other original materials, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Access to the service does not transfer ownership of Vareth or its intellectual property to the user.

Vareth may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, infrastructure problems, security incidents or other technical reasons.

During development and testing, features may be modified, reset, disabled or removed when necessary to develop and operate the game.

Access to Vareth may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these Terms, respond to fraud or abuse, or comply with applicable legal requirements.

More detailed enforcement and appeal procedures may be introduced before broader public release.

Vareth is currently under development. The service may contain bugs, incomplete functionality, balance changes or temporary interruptions.

Final warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability and jurisdiction-specific consumer protections will be reviewed before these Terms are used for a public commercial release.

These Terms may be updated as Vareth develops or as its features, business model and legal requirements change.

The revision date at the top of this page will be updated when the Terms change.
